Using Your Universal Hollywood Plus Pass​

The Universal Hollywood Plus Pass includes entry to a great range of must do attractions, experiences, and things to do in LA, including the option of Universal Studios Hollywood, all on one single pass downloadable as an app directly from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your LA experience will vary depending on how many and which attractions you choose. Each pass provides you with the flexibility to create your own tailored experience. The Hollywood Plus Pass functionality is powered by Smartvisit.​

The Universal Hollywood Plus Pass offers two options: 3 or 5 Attractions.​

Option A: The Universal Hollywood Plus Pass – 3 Attractions includes your choice of any three attractions in Los Angeles from the available attraction options, including 1-Day General Admission to Universal Studios Hollywood. Pass is valid for seven (7) days from (and inclusive of) the earlier of (i) the first visit to a participating attraction or (ii) selected first reservation date to a participating attraction.​​

Option B: The Universal Hollywood Plus Pass – 5 Attractions includes your choice of any five attractions in Los Angeles from the available attraction options, including 1-Day General Admission to Universal Studios Hollywood. Pass is valid for seven (7) days from (and inclusive of) the earlier of (i) the first visit to a participating attraction or (ii) selected first reservation date to a participating attraction.​

Attractions marked with (*) require advance reservations which can be made in the Smartvisit App. Also consult the Smartvisit App for blockout dates, which vary by attraction.

Using your Universal Hollywood Plus Pass is easy! Purchase the Pass that suits you best. You'll be e-mailed an e-ticket with a 28-digit Pass number with instructions on how to download the free Smartvisit App on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.​

After adding your Pass, for most participating attractions simply navigate in the App to the attraction you wish to visit, click "Redeem Now" and then present your Pass at the attraction to be scanned for entry.​

However, some attractions require a reservation prior to your visit; others may require a separate ticket. Instructions on exactly how to redeem your Pass for each attraction are provided within the pass guide in the App. The "Book Now" button will guide you through the booking process and place a confirmation of your booking under "Upcoming Reservations." If a separate ticket is issued, you can easily retrieve it by selecting "View Tickets" under that reservation.​

No, currently we don't offer a family pass. Each member of your family will require their own Universal Hollywood Plus Pass and has the freedom to do what they would like. You have the option to manage all passes for a group together on one device using the Smartvisit App.

The Universal Hollywood Plus Pass is valid for seven (7) days from (and inclusive of) the earlier of (i) the first visit to a participating attraction or (ii) selected first reservation date to a participating attraction.

No, you do not have to use the pass in consecutive days.

Your Pass Number(s) will be sent to you via email, and you will need to register all guests' Pass Number(s) on the Smartvisit App before arrival.

You do not need to select your attractions at the time of purchase, providing you with greater flexibility if you change your mind regarding the attractions you wish to visit. Please note however that some attractions do require advanced reservations and it may not be possible to cancel or amend these reservations once confirmed.

No. The validity period of your Pass will begin when you visit the first attraction, or, if earlier, on the date you have a reservation for your first attraction visit. You can download your Pass at any time prior to when you wish to start using it, without activating the validity period.
