1. How can I find out about future auditions?

The best way to receive casting and audition updates is to create a USH Audition Profile by clicking here. Be the first to receive audition alerts, upload your most updated resume/headshot, and highlight talents for casting consideration in upcoming performance opportunities in the park!

2. What is the age requirement to audition?

You must be 18 years or older by the date of the audition to be eligible.

3. What should I wear to the audition?

Please come dressed in comfortable, clothing that you can move in. We prefer that you do not come dressed in costume, heavy makeup or wig. If you are attending a dance audition please bring dance shoes.

4. Is a headshot and resume required in order to audition?

Although we prefer a current headshot and resume for each audition, you will still be able to audition without one.

6. Where do I park when I come to audition?

Complimentary parking will be provided for auditionees at one of our theme park parking garages. Once you book your audition appointment a parking pass will be provided in your confirmation message. Please refer to the parking pass for available parking locations for that day. Please bring a copy of your parking pass with you when you audition; you will need to surrender it upon arrival. Please remember there is no complimentary parking at the Universal Hilton.

7. How long does it take to find out if I have been cast?

The length of time it takes to make casting decisions varies. It may take up to 3 weeks for casting decisions to go out for our main marquee events, Halloween Horror Nights and Grinchmas. We try to finalize casting decisions in 1-2 weeks for rest of our auditions but it may take longer due to extenuating circumstances.

In the decades since the Studio Tour tram first drove visitors through the back lot, Universal Studios Hollywood has grown to become a world class destination.

Performers and behind the scenes personnel at Universal Studios Hollywood play a major role in bringing that magic to life for our guests; whether it’s doing a 50’ high fall on fire in Waterworld, teaching audiences the behind the scenes secrets of movie-making or making a child’s dream of meeting their favorite animated character come true.
